Community Wellbeing Research, Evaluation, and Consulting

Community Wellbeing REC exists to help organizations and systems improve outcomes for both the people they serve and the people they employ.

We partner with social service organizations, nonprofits, and public agencies to turn your questions into actionable answers: Is this program working? What do our people need? What do the data actually say? And what can we meaningfully do about it?

We provide rigorous, mixed-methods research, evaluation, and consulting for organizations navigating complex questions about people and systems.

WHY IT MATTERS

Organizations and communities are made of people — and people are shaped by the systems around them. When those systems are both designed and implemented well, people flourish. When they're not, even the best intentions fall short.

Organizations invest significantly in their programs — for the clients they serve and the staff who do the work. Without data, those investments get renewed on instinct rather than evidence, and the people they're meant to serve get lost in aggregate scores.

We help change that. The goal is always the same: understand not just what your data says, but why, what to do next, and how.

MY APPROACH

Rigorous methods. Human-centered framing.

This work started with a straightforward question: what actually helps people thrive? Not in the abstract — in the specific, messy, high-stakes contexts where organizations and communities are doing real work with real people.

We work at the intersection of quantitative analysis and qualitative depth. That means survey design grounded in measurement theory, interviews and focus groups that surface what numbers can't capture, and reporting that translates complexity into decisions you can act on.

That experience shapes how we approach data — with both precision and care.
